Frequently asked questions
What makes the Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress feel different from a standard latex bed?
It uses four layered Dunlop latex with a 2" firm base, two customizable 3" middle layers, and a 2" soft top, plus a cotton-wool cover. This setup allows personalized firmness on the middle layers for balanced support and pressure relief.
Who would benefit most from Flora and who might want something else?
It suits sleepers who want customizable firmness across the bed and balanced support, including dual-firmness options on queens and kings. If you prefer a single, fixed feel or a non-latex material, this may not be the best fit.
What materials are used and how do they affect daily use?
The mattress combines certified organic Dunlop latex layers and a organic cotton quilted cover with organic wool. The wool helps regulate temperature and adds natural flame retardant properties, while individual latex layers minimize motion transfer.
Can Flora be used with an adjustable bed base?
Yes, it is compatible with adjustable bases, and optional hardwood slatted foundations are available to pair with the setup.
What is special about the dual-firmness option on larger sizes?
Queen and King sizes offer dual-firmness customization on each side, allowing two sleepers to choose different firmness preferences within the same mattress.
The Flora 10" latex mattress combines four certified organic Dunlop latex layers to provide customizable comfort across different needs. With a 2" firm base layer, two middle 3" customizable layers (firm, medium, or soft), and a 2" soft top, this mattress is designed to adapt to a wide range of body types and sleep preferences while promoting balanced support and pressure relief. Each latex layer is individually wrapped to minimize friction and movement, and the cover is a luxurious organic cotton quilted with organic wool to help regulate temperature and enhance durability.
A natural flame retardant, wool filling enhances comfort and safety, and the wool-cotton blend contributes to pressure point reduction and temperature regulation. Queen and King sizes offer dual-firmness customization on each side for personalized comfort, and the mattress is compatible with adjustable bases. Optional hardwood slatted foundations are available to complement the bed, all made with sustainable materials and finished to support long-term use. A 20-year limited warranty provides added peace of mind.
